Assoc. Prof. Miles Sparrow
Assoc. Prof. Miles Sparrow is a gastroenterologist with an interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who works at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne and in private practice at Brighton Gastroenterology. After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1995 he completed basic and advanced training in gastroenterology in Melbourne before undertaking a 3 year clinical research fellowship in the United States at The University of Chicago, Chicago and Mount Sinai Medical Centre, New York. His research interests include use and optimisation of immunomodulators, and clinical trials of novel experimental agents in IBD. He is a member of IBD-Australia, IBD-Melbourne and the BRIDGe IBD special interest groups.
